Alongside the wonderful Anne Currie, I co-wrote the second edition of “The Cloud Native Attitude”. Doing so gave us both the opportunity to re-visit a number of pioneering firms who had taken early advantage of what a shift to the cloud enabled, including flight booking unicorn Skyscanner, the global newspaper the Financial Times, and UK challenger bank Starling. Alongside these, we’ve added a new case study with cinch, a firm who made the decision to abandon Kubernetes in favour of a serverless architecture built on AWS lambda.
The book provides a rapid introduction to what being Cloud Native means from both a technical and business perspective. It is available as a free download from the Container Soloutions website.
